• Paper and brown crayon
    (for bark rubbing)
  • Card
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Green paint
  • Paper plate
  • Glue spreader
  • Glue pot
  • Place paper on to tree bark (attach with tape if windy)
  • Rub the crayon over the paper – we found out (at the end!) that peeling off the wrapper and using the side of the crayon is easier
  • Once back at home, cut the bark rubbings into strips for the trunk and branches
  • Glue the strips on to the card
  • Use finger painting to create the leaves
  • Jacob  used this idea to make a card for a friend
