- Place paper on to tree bark (attach with tape if windy)
- Rub the crayon over the paper – we found out (at the end!) that peeling off the wrapper and using the side of the crayon is easier
- Once back at home, cut the bark rubbings into strips for the trunk and branches
- Glue the strips on to the card
- Use finger painting to create the leaves
- Jacob used this idea to make a card for a friend
